Description
Hand crafted by our women artisans in rural Vietnam and Cambodia, this baby quilt features a whimsical and serene depiction of a typical scene in the SE Asian countryside, highlighting a farmer walking with his water buffalo.
The quilt is made with 100% cotton fabric featuring a cute hand-appliquéd local farmer, water buffalo and bird in colourful and patterned fabrics. The background is also hand-appliquéd and finished with contour stitching. It is set off with a vibrant frame and hand-stitched border. The backing is simply one fabric in a complementary colour. Between the two cotton layers is a filling of polyester batting for warmth and comfort. The three layers are then hand-quilted together in an intricate stitching pattern to prevent shifting and to keep the layers secure for the long life of the quilt.
Our quilts are of the highest quality and easy to look after. Simply machine wash with cold water on a delicate setting with mild laundry detergent, then lay out flat to dry in the shade. It will become softer and cozier with every washing.
Measuring: 120x100cm and weighing only 800gr, this quilt is a perfect lightweight, colourful addition to any child’s room.
