Description
Hand crafted by our women artisans in rural Vietnam and Cambodia, this baby quilt features cute and friendly figures Noel.
The quilt is made with 100% cotton fabric. The figures Noel are appliqué onto a patchwork background with banana tree green. The backing is simply one fabric in a complementary colour. Between the two cotton layers is a filling of polyester batting for warmth and comfort. The three layers are then hand-quilted together in a wave stitching pattern to tie in with the theme. This also prevents shifting of the batting and to keep the layers secure for the long life of the quilt.
Our quilts are of the highest quality and easy to look after. Simply machine wash with cold water on a delicate setting with mild laundry detergent, then lay out flat to dry in the shade. It will become softer and cozier with every washing.
This quilt is made in Đức Linh, as part of a community development project. The quilters have now stable employment next to home, and have nearly doubled their income.
